NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are looking to identify a group of suspects who stabbed a man while attempting to rob a boy's scooter earlier this week in the Bronx.

It happened in the vicinity of Colgate Avenue and Watson Avenue in Soundview on Monday, June 20, at approximately 7 p.m.

According to officials, the four suspects exited a white pickup truck and approached a 23-year-old man and a 12-year-old boy.

The man was stabbed in the face by the group of suspects who attempted to steal the boy's scooter, cops said.

The suspects were unable to take the scooter and fled in the white pickup truck in an unknown direction.

The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
