NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for a man suspected of stabbing a subway rider inside a Times Square station over the weekend.
Just before 8 p.m. Saturday, a 51-year-old man was approached by the suspect inside of the Times Square–42nd Street station.
According to police, the suspect pushed the victim, displayed a knife and then stabbed him in the chest near the 1 line.

The suspect fled to the northbound 1, 2, 3 platform after the attack.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was listed in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen wearing dark clothing and white headphones.
