NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was stabbed multiple times in the head on a subway train in Times Square early Thursday, police said.
The 52-year-old victim was attacked around 2 a.m. aboard a northbound 1 train near the 42nd Street station.
Police believe he was in a dispute with another man when the latter whipped out a sharp object and stabbed him multiple times in the head.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue in stable condition.
The attacker fled on foot and was still being sought Thursday. No description of him has been released.
