NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was stabbed in the stomach and robbed on a Queen street early Thursday morning, police said.
The 29-year-old victim was in front of a home on 24th Street, near 23rd Avenue, in Astoria around 1:40 a.m. when another man came up and knifed him.
The attacker grabbed the victim’s backpack, which contained a cellphone and other items, police said.
EMS transported the victim in stable condition to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst.
The suspect fled and was still being sought by police Thursday.
