NEW YORK (1001 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a suspect they said stabbed a 62-year-old man during an argument at an Upper West Side subway station, authorities said.
The incident happened at approximately 5:35 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, onboard a southbound 2 train at the West 72nd Street station.

According to officials, the suspect had a verbal dispute with the victim and used a knife to stab the victim in the torso.
The suspect then exited the train and fled westbound on 72nd Street towards West End Avenue.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside and is in stable condition..
