The NYPD released photos of Rakien Figueroa and identified him as their prime suspect in Tuesday morning’s vicious assault.
The 39-year-old victim, who is known to Figueroa, was inside Cava at 345 Adams St. just before 8 a.m. when Figueroa threw a chair at the front door to get inside the business.
He then stabbed the woman multiple times with a knife before fleeing the restaurant, police said.
The victim suffered stab wounds throughout her body. She was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.
She is Figueroa’s ex-girlfriend, according to WNBC.
