NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A man stole a 12-year-old girl’s wallet at a Brooklyn subway station this week, police said Friday as they released surveillance video of the suspect.

The crook struck at the Cortelyou Road station in Flatbush on Monday afternoon.

The girl was leaving a northbound Q train just after 3 p.m. when the man snatched a wallet and money from her bag.

Surveillance images show him fleeing up a platform staircase.

No injuries were reported in the theft.
