
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD on Sunday released a photo of a suspect sought in a knifepoint robbery at a Queens gas station on Friday, authorities said.
At approximately 11:15 p.m., the suspect entered a BP gas station located at 75-15 Northern Blvd. in Jackson Heights.
According to police, the suspect proceeded to walk behind the counter and displayed a knife to a 24-year-old employee and demanded money, officials said.
The suspect then stole approximately $1,000 from the register and fled the location on foot, heading westbound on Northern Boulevard toward 74th Street.
There were no reported injuries.
