NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A Manhattan gas station worker was slashed in the face on Tuesday night by a man who fled on a motorcycle, police said.
The 28-year-old employee was working at the Mobil at W. 51st Street and 11th Avenue around 7:30 p.m. when the motorcyclist pulled up to get gas.
Some sort of dispute erupted between the two men, and the motorcyclist slashed the worker in the face with a sharp object, WABC reported.
The worker suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was hospitalized at Mount Sinai West.
The attacker fled the station on his lime green motorcycle. He was last seen headed southbound on 11th Avenue.
No arrests had been reported as of Wednesday.
