Man suffers fractured cranium in fight at UES apt building

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was punched multiple times in the head amid a dispute with his attacker at an Upper East Side building, police said Thursday as they released the suspect's image.

The brutal confrontation happened in the hallway of the 31-year-old victim's apartment building near East 96th Street and 2nd Avenue on May 5 around 10 p.m.

As the argument heated up, the suspect beat the victim in the face and head, then fled to parts unknown.

The victim was taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Metropolitan, where he was treated for a fractured cranium.
