NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is released video footage on Friday of a suspect they are looking to identify in a violent purse robbery on a Bronx street last month.
At approximately 1:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, the suspect was engaged in conversation with an 18-year-old woman at East Fordham Road and Morris Avenue in Fordham Heights.
The suspect then started chasing the victim, threw a cold beverage at her, then punched her twice in the face., officials said
He then grabbed her bag, containing her laptop, and fled southbound on Morris Avenue.
The victim was treated by EMS on scene for a laceration, bruising and swelling to her face.
The suspect was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and camouflage shorts.
