Man uses pole, glass bottle to damage Queens subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a pole-wielding suspect wanted for damaging a Queens subway station last week, authorities said.

Just after 12 a.m. on Sunday, July 23, entered the vestibule of the Beach 67 Street train station.

Once inside, the suspect used a glass bottle to damage three OMNY turnstile displays, officials said.

The suspect then proceeded inside of the station where he attempted to damage the window of a token booth with a long pole before fleeing.

He was last seen fleeing out of the station on foot.

The suspect was last seen wearing a black beanie hat, black t-shirt, and dark blue jeans.
