Man violently robbed in the Bronx, 2 suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify the two suspects wanted in a violent robbery that occurred earlier this month in the Bronx, authorities said.

The incident happened at approximately 12:05 a.m. on Monday, March 6 in front of 1460 Inwood Ave. in Mount Eden, officials said.

According to police, a 33-year-old man was approached by the two suspect who engaged him in a verbal dispute.

The suspects began kicking and punching the victim multiple times before forcibly taking his property.

The suspects stole the victim's cellphone and keys before fleeing towards Jerome Avenue on foot.

The victim sustained minor injuries and sought medical attention by private means.
