
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man and woman were fighting for their lives Monday after an early morning drive-by shooting in Brooklyn.
The victims—an unidentified man and 19-year-old woman—were in a car at 2340 Coney Island Ave. in Gravesend shortly after 12 a.m. when multiple shots were fired from a passing vehicle.
Both victims were struck in the chest, police said.
After being shot, the victims drove for about six blocks to 2515 Hubbard St. in Sheepshead Bay, where they were found by officers responding to a 911 call.
The victims were rushed to NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn. They are not expected to survive their injuries, police said.
Investigators don't yet know a motive for the shooting, police said. It's unclear if the victims were the intended targets.
No arrests have been reported. Police haven't yet released a description of the suspected shooter.
