NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are investigating after a man's body was found floating in the East River in Queens Wednesday evening, authorities said.
The body was discovered at about 5 p.m. near the Socrates Sculpture Park at Broadway and Vernon Boulevard in Astoria, police said.
EMS pronounced the victim, who appeared to be in his 40s dead at the scene.
There were no visible signs of trauma.
Officials did not release any further details.
