NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police launched an investigation after discovering the body of a 71-year-old man floating in a lake on Staten Island Tuesday evening.
According to officials, just after 7 p.m., a person walking their dog called 911 after discovering the body in Grasmere Lake in Concord.
The body was found unconscious and unresponsive behind in the vicinity of Lakeside Place and Lakeview Terrace.
He was fully clothed when he was found, police said.
The name of the man has not been released and the medical examiner will determine the victim's cause of death.
The incident remains under investigation.
