Men on motorcycles spew anti-Semitic remarks, steal man's yarmulke in Brooklyn

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three men on motorcycles hurled anti-Semitic remarks at a man and demanded his money before stealing his yarmulke in Brooklyn last week, police said Saturday.

The 21-year-old victim was at the northwest corner of Metropolitan and Manhattan avenues in Williamsburg around 4:10 p.m. on June 2 when the three men rode up, according to police.

The trio made anti-Semitic statements and demanded the man’s money, police said.

When the man tried to call 911, the men stole his yarmulke and sped off, according to police.

No injuries were reported, police said.

The NYPD released video of the suspects on Saturday. They were last seen fleeing northbound on Manhattan Avenue.
