Men surround, threaten to kill driver in carjacking at Harlem gas station: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Three men surrounded and threatened to kill a driver while carjacking him at a Harlem gas station on Saturday, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance video of the three suspects they’re searching for on Sunday.

Police said a 26-year-old man was entering his Toyota RAV4 at a Mobil gas station on W. 145th Street, near Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, around 12:15 a.m. when the men surrounded his vehicle.

The men forced the victim out of the vehicle as they threatened to kill him, police said.

The men then got into the Toyota and fled eastbound on W. 145th Street.

No injuries were reported, and police said no weapons were displayed during the carjacking.
