NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- At least two on-duty MTA workers were attacked this week in the subway—one hit with a noxious substance and another groped.

The NYPD released surveillances images Friday of two suspects in the pair of transit attacks in Queens.

The groping was Sunday at the Roosevelt Avenue/74th Street station in Jackson Heights.

A 36-year-old woman was working near the E/F lines when a man came up and grabbed her buttocks, police said. He then fled on a northbound train.

Two days later, around 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, a 36-year-old man was working at the mezzanine of the 75th Avenue station in Forest Hills, also on the E/F line, when a woman got into an argument with him.

During the exchange, the woman threw an unknown substance in the victim's face that caused burning and irritation, police said.

She fled on foot and was last seen at the 71st Avenue station in Forest Hills.

The worker suffered minor injuries. He was transported to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills hospital for treatment.
