The NYPD released an image of the suspect Friday following last Tuesday morning’s robbery attempt in Hell’s Kitchen.

The man walked into the Payomatic check-cashing center at Ninth Avenue and W. 51st Street just before 8:45 a.m.

The man handed a receptionist a note that read, “This is a robbery—give me the money.”

The receptionist shot down his demands and gave him back his note.

The suspect took off and was last seen fleeing northbound on Ninth Avenue, police said.

No injuries were reported, and no property was taken.
