
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating a domestic incident as an attempted murder-suicide of a couple on Thursday morning, after cops reportedly found a man and woman with their throats slit inside a Bronx apartment.

The New York Post reports a 24-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man were both found around 7 a.m. inside an apartment on Arthur Avenue and East 180th Street in Crotona with cuts to their throats.
Authorities said the man allegedly attacked the victim and hurt himself.
He was reportedly transported to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition. Sources told The New York Daily News that the woman died at the same hospital.
Police sources told The Post that a box cutter found at the scene has been recovered by authorities.
The Daily News reports the man is expected to face charges for the killing.
