2 cops, at least 8 pedestrians injured in Bronx after NYPD vehicle collides with car, jumps curb

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — At least eight pedestrians and two police officers were injured Thursday in the Bronx after an NYPD vehicle collided with another vehicle and jumped the curb, the FDNY said.

Calls came into 911 around 3 p.m.. The incident took place at Hoe Ave. and Westchester Ave. in the borough's Foxhurst section.

Ten people were injured the crash. According to one report, a child was among the injured.

The victims were taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln and NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi where they are all expected to survive.
