NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A person was pulled from the Hudson River during a large emergency response on a chilly Tuesday morning, the FDNY said.

The person was removed from the water by FDNY members responding to a call just before 10:30 a.m.

It’s unclear how the person ended up in the water near West and Bank streets in the West Village.

Their condition also wasn't immediately known, but the FDNY said they were treated at the scene by EMS and then taken to Lenox Health Greenwich Village.

Outside temps in the area were only in the low-to-mid 50s at the time.
