NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Police are searching for a man who slashed a person with gardening shears in midtown Manhattan early Wednesday morning.
The victim was slashed in the head near Eighth Avenue and W. 48th Street, police told the New York Post.
The 5:30 a.m. attack left the victim with a cut to the forehead, according to the report. The injury was said to be non-life-threatening.
Police said the suspect was 5 feet 9 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was last seen in a blue jacket, black pants and a gray winter hat, according to police.
