NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman described as a “heavy hoarder” was found dead in her Queens home this week, police said.

The 66-year-old woman’s mummified body was found at her home near 14th Avenue and 123rd Street in College Point on Tuesday afternoon, police told the New York Post.

The woman’s sister recently returned to the city to find her sibling, as she hadn't heard from her since October of last year, according to the report.

A crew the sister had hired to clean the home discovered her body under debris in the kitchen, police said.

The NYPD had reported the woman missing in early December. Police told the Post that they didn’t suspect criminality in her death.

The grim discovery came about a month after two twin brothers were found mummified in their Brooklyn apartment in an apparent hoarding situation.
