Road-rager sought for shooting driver after Bronx crash

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 30-year-old man was shot by a road-raging driver after both men got into a car accident in the Bronx, police said Tuesday as they searched for the suspected shooter.

The confrontation happened Dec. 17 around 4 a.m. in the vicinity of West Fordham Road and the Major Deegan Expressway in Kingsbridge Heights.

According to police, the gunman and victim got into a dispute after their cars crashed, and as their dispute intensified, the 30-year-old was shot in the right leg.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled in a white Mercedes-Benz sedan in an unknown direction, police said.
