
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- Two men were killed in a pair of shootings in Manhattan and the Bronx late Wednesday, police said.
The first fatal shooting broke out at 5:20 p.m. in the Tremont section of the Bronx, where a 21-year-old man was gunned down at East 176th Street and Anthony Avenue. Witness reported hearing four or five shots.
The victim was shot multiple times in the torso. He was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Less than five hours later, a 44-year-old man was shot just before 10 p.m. at West 163rd Street and Riverside Drive in Washington Heights.
The victim suffered gunshot wounds to the head and chest. He was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln but did not survive.

Neither victim has been identified as police notify their families.
No arrests have been reported, nor suspect descriptions released, as police continue to investigate the shootings.
