Slain man's body found in garbage bag in Queens

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD launched an investigation after the body of a man with a stab injury was found in a trash bag Wednesday afternoon in Queens, authorities said.

Just before 2 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an aided male at 32-41 104 St. in North Corona, police said.

Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified man unconscious inside of a garbage bag at the location.

Officials also determined that the victim had a puncture wound to the back.

EMS responded and pronounced the man dead on scene.

There have been no arrests in made and the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
