
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man hurled a soda can at an MTA conductor’s head as a train left a subway station in Greenwich Village on Tuesday night, police said.
The conductor was on-duty inside a northbound 1 train at the 14th Street/Sixth Avenue station around 11 p.m. when she was attacked.
The man came up and threw the can into the conductor cab, striking her in the face, police said
She was transported to Mount Sinai Hospital in stable condition.
Her attacker ran off and was still being sought Wednesday.
Police said an investigation into the assault is ongoing.
