
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – An on-duty subway conductor was sprayed in the face with a noxious substance in an unprovoked attack at a Queens station this week, police said Wednesday as they released a photo of the suspect.
The 40-year-old MTA employee was aboard a northbound R train at the Forest Hills–71st Avenue station sometime Sunday when a male attacked her from the platform.
He sprayed an unknown irritant in her face that caused a burning sensation and irritation to her eyes, police said.
The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot, according to cops.
