Subway rider stabbed by man harassing passengers on train at Rockefeller Center

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A subway rider was stabbed by a man who he confronted for harassing passengers on a train at Rockefeller Center early Monday morning, police said.

The 27-year-old victim was aboard a southbound B train at the 47th–50th Streets–Rockefeller Center station around 2:20 a.m. when he and the other man got into an argument.

During the dispute, the man stabbed the victim in the abdomen with an unknown object, police said.

The victim was taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled and had not been arrested as of Monday.
