Suspect arrested after 2 men stabbed inside Harlem subway station: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials arrested a man accused of stabbing two men following a dispute inside a Harlem subway station early Wednesday, authorities said.

According to police, the victims, ages 19- and 20-years-old, were stabbed in the neck and in the torso at around 1 a.m. on the southbound 2 train platform at the 135th Street subway station.

The victims transported themselves to an area hospital and are reported both to be in serious but stable condition, the NYPD said.

The suspect was arrested near the scene, and a knife was recovered, cops said.

Charges are pending and an investigation remains ongoing.
