
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a suspect wanted for assaulting two senior women on a Bronx street earlier this month, authorities said.
At about 12:10 a.m., on Wednesday, August 9, the suspect approached a 74-year-old woman and an 85-year-old woman at 139 East 161st St. in Concourse Village, officials said.
The suspect hit the 85-year-old woman in her shoulder with a bag and punched the 74-year-old woman in the face, causing her to fall to the ground, the NYPD said.
The suspect fled westbound on East 161st Street.
Both victims were treated on the scene by EMS.
