David Robinson, 53, of Brooklyn, was charged Friday with murder and two counts of manslaughter after being sought for months in the fatal attack.

Police said Than Htwe, 58, and her 22-year-old son were walking up stairs at the Canal Street subway station around 7 a.m. on July 17 when a man grabbed her son's bag, causing both the mom and son to fall down the stairs.

Htwe was hospitalized in critical condition and had to undergo emergency brain surgery, according to police and her family. Her son reportedly suffered minor injuries.

Htwe was pronounced dead at a hospital a week after the attack, police said.

Police released photos and surveillance video months ago as they sought Robinson. According to the Post, an anonymous tip on the NYPD Crime Stoppers line led to the arrest.

A GoFundMe for the family ultimately raised nearly $50,000.
