
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD took a suspect into custody in the stabbing death of a man in a Harlem park on Tuesday, authorities said.
At approximately 5:20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a man stabbed inside the Charles Young Playground at West 145th Street and Lenox Avenue in Harlem.
Upon arrival, officers observed 61-year-old Pressie Taylor with a stab wound to the chest.
EMS transported Taylor to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 63-year-old man was taken into custody, charges pending.
The investigation remains ongoing at this time.
