NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police have released a photo of the alleged gunman who shot a teen and a man outside a Harlem school that was part of a series of shootings near Manhattan schools last week.
A 16-year-old boy and a 27-year-old man were both shot just before 1 p.m. on East 128th Street and Madison Avenue, just next to Harlem Renaissance High School, police said.
The man, who was shot in the right leg, and the boy, who suffered a gunshot wound in his right thigh, were transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem in stable condition.
The suspect was last seen entering 350 East 124th St.
This shooting was the second known attack on March 14 that took place close to schools within a few hours of one another. The shootings appeared to be "connected," NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell said at the time.
Anyone with information in regard to this shooting is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
