
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Friday released surveillance footage of a suspect wanted in a broad-daylight sex attack in a Bronx park earlier this month, authorities said.
At approximately 8:30 a.m. on Friday, August 18, a 39-year-old woman was sitting inside of Crotona Park when she was approached by the suspect.
The suspect engaged her in conversation and left, officials said.
Shortly thereafter, the suspect returned and exposed himself while attempting to have the victim perform a sexual act upon him.
The victim was able to get away from the suspect.
EMS transported her to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition, for evaluation.
The suspect was last seen fleeing out of the park to parts unknown.
He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sandals.
