NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a man sought in connection with a carjacking that occurred on a Bronx street in late April, authorities said.
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 28, a 48-year-old man was seated in his vehicle in the vicinity of Metcalf Avenue and Watson Avenue in Soundview when he was flagged down by the suspect on the side of the road who said he had been involved in a vehicle collision, officials said.

The suspect punched the victim in the head and forcibly removed him from the car, police said.
The suspect then fled in the vehicle.
