
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man wanted for striking a teen boy during a dispute in Manhattan over the weekend, according to authorities.
The incident occurred at approximately 1:10 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, the 17-year-old victim was at the northeast corner of Bowery and East 3rd Street in the East Village when he was approached by the suspect, officials said.

Police said the two engaged in a verbal dispute before the victim began walking away.
The suspect then struck the teen from behind him on the right side of his neck with an unknown object causing a laceration.
The suspect fled on foot, towards East 4th Street to parts unknown, the NYPD said.
EMS transported the teen to NYC Health & Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was treated and released.
The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion, approximately 5'11" tall, weighing 190 pounds, with a goatee and short dark braided hair.
He was last seen wearing a blue puffer jacket, white sweat pants, a white graphic t-shirt, and a black hooded sweatshirt wrapped around his waist.
