NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A mob of more than a dozen young people was being sought Thursday for causing $20,000 in damage at the Fish Village restaurant in Queens.

The NYPD released video showing the teens on an elevator around the time they ransacked the Chinese seafood spot on 127th Street in College Point on Saturday night.

Video posted to social media by community activist Yiatin Chu shows the “gang of masked kids in hoodies” senselessly destroying the business around 8:15 p.m. as the staff watches helplessly.

“We’ve fallen so low that there’s no expectation of consequences for this horrific attack on private property,” Chu wrote in her tweet.

The mob broke tables, chairs and dishes with a total value of $20,000, police said.

It’s unclear what, if anything, precipitated the onslaught. Manager Tony Hu told WNBC through a translator that the teens suddenly raced into the business and unleashed havoc.

No injuries were reported in the chaos, according to police, who are investigating the incident as a case of criminal mischief.

The suspects fled down 127th Street on foot, police said.

Guardian Angels founder Curtis Sliwa told the New York Post that his crime prevention group would step up patrols in the area.

“This was a wolfpack, a bunch of teenage thugs rampaging through the restaurant,” Sliwa said. He predicted if there are arrests, they’ll be “charged as juveniles and be back out on the street.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
