The robbery took place around 4 p.m. on June 19, when the unidentified man approached the victim and asked to use his cellphone near Stanton Street and Ludlow Street.

The victim refused to hand over his cellphone, so the man punched him in the face and stole it, police said.
The thief ran off with the phone and is still being sought.
The victim refused medical attention.
