NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) -- A 74-year-old man was punched to the ground in Brooklyn by three robbers who stole $15 from him, police said Thursday.

The NYPD released surveillance footage of the three suspects—two men and a woman—who they’re searching for in the Feb. 1 mugging in Brownsville.

The victim was walking eastbound on Sutter Avenue just after 7 p.m. when he was approached from behind by the trio.

His attackers punched him in the face, knocking him to the sidewalk, police said. They then stole $15 from his pockets and fled the area.

The victim suffered a facial laceration and was transported in stable condition to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center.

Police believe the three suspects are between 40 and 50 years old.
