NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two men jumped into a running SUV and drove off, dragging and injuring a woman, police said Thursday as they released surveillance video of the carjacking on Manhattan’s West Side.

The injured woman was one of three people in or near the GMC Acadia when the two men targeted the vehicle at 10th Avenue and W. 42nd Street in Hell’s Kitchen on the night of June 16, police said.

Police said the two men were among a group of people who approached the vehicle around 11:25 p.m. One of the men entered the driver’s seat, while the other man got into the front passenger seat.

The two men then sped off with the vehicle, police said.

A 32-year-old woman who was unloading the SUV jumped into the rear cargo area during the carjacking. A 30-year-old woman who was standing outside of the vehicle was pulled for several feet before falling to the ground, police said.
