VIDEO: Bronx robbery pair who ambushed 3 men sought by NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a Bronx robbery duo who have robbed three people, often at gunpoint, of nearly $200,000 within the last month, releasing video from their first violent encounter.

According to police, the first incident happened on July 30 around 5:49 p.m. when a 39-year-old man was standing in front of 1395 Nelson Ave.

The bandits approached the victim, and one of them displayed a black firearm and demanded cash. The men forced the victim down to the ground, pressed the firearm into his back and removed approximately $800, two cellphones, jewelry and Air pods before fleeing on foot to parts unknown. The value of the property removed is around $12,710.

In the second incident, police said the same man confronted a 25-year-old man on Aug. 2 at 7:15 pm along Gun Hill Road and Lurting Avenue and forcibly removed his necklace, a bracelet and wallet containing approximately $540 and credit cards. The suspects then fled in a vehicle eastbound on East Gun Hill Road then northbound on Laconia Avenue. The value of the jewelry removed is about $2,100.

Cops said the crooks struck again in their last known incident on Aug. 13 at 10:50 a.m. in front of 3327 Conner St. The men approached a 37-year-old man and displayed a firearm. The individuals then removed the victim's gold necklace, watch and rings before fleeing on foot to parts unknown. The value of the jewelry removed is around $180,0000.

None of the victims were injured in each incident, according to police.

The suspects are described as being in their 20s, with the first seen wearing a gray hoodie, white t-shirt, gray shorts, red and black sneakers, black hat and black face mask. The second is seen wearing a red t-shirt, black pants, black sneakers, black hat and a black face mask.
