VIDEO: Kids, dog thrown to ground as man gropes mom on Brooklyn street

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Two kids were thrown to the ground as their mother fell while trying to stop a man from groping her on a Brooklyn street, video released Wednesday shows as police search for a suspect.

The 41-year-old mom was walking with her two children, one of them in a stroller, and her dog at 64th Street and Ninth Avenue in Sunset Park on the night of May 1 when the man targeted her around 10:30 p.m., police said.

The man came up from behind and slapped her buttocks, and as she tried to stop him, she fell to the ground, according to police.

Both of the children and the dog were also thrown to the concrete, police said.

Video shows the stroller overturning, a young child collapsing to the ground and a dog being pulled through the air by a leash from the force of the fall.

The man is seen running away from the scene as the mom and kids are lying on the street.

None of the victims required medical attention, police said.
