NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A masked gunman wielding a pistol fired at a 36-year-old man sitting inside his van at a Bronx gas station on Monday, police announced Thursday.
The victim was sitting inside a van at a Citgo gas station on East 233rd Street near De Reimer Avenue in Edenwald when the attacker shot his car three times, officials said.
The driver sped away and escaped unharmed.
The attacker also fled after the shooting.
The NYPD has not yet made any arrests, and an investigation is ongoing.
