NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Mayor Eric Adams pushed an MTA worker’s broken-down car through the streets of Manhattan on Monday evening, video shows.

Video tweeted by Adams shows the mayor and two other men pushing the car down E. 42nd Street at First Avenue, just south of the U.N. building.

“My team is always on the job!” Adams tweeted. “One of our MTA workers’ car was stopped in the middle of the street. We’re always here to help #GetStuffDone.”

The vehicle apparently stalled in the middle of the street, so the mayor pushed it to the shoulder under Tudor City Place.

“I’m so sorry about this, man,” the MTA worker told the mayor. “I know you’re a busy guy trying to run the city. I’m sorry. Thanks, fellas.”
