NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Video released by the NYPD on Friday shows the moment a gunman opened fire on a Bronx street, striking a mom in the leg as she pushed her toddler in a stroller.
The shooting, just before 6 p.m. Thursday, followed an argument between a 22-year-old man and two other men at Broadway and W. 225th Street in the Marble Hill section.
Police said the two men pulled guns on the 22-year-old, and one of them fired a single shot, striking the 28-year-old mother in her left leg. Video obtained by the New York Post shows the moment she was hit.
The mom was pushing her 2-year-old daughter in a stroller at the time, but the child was not injured, according to police.

A bystander came to the mom’s aid and covered her injury with his sweater, police said.
She was taken by EMS to New York-Presbyterian Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition.

The two gunmen fled northbound on Broadway after the shooting, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
