Police are calling it a robbery pattern as both incidents took place in June around Eighth Avenue toward 3 a.m.

One incident was caught on surveillance footage and showed the suspect approaching a 50-year-old man in front of 750 8th Ave. on June 13, around 3 a.m. He offered to sell the victim drugs first, police said.

The suspect then forcibly took the victim's Rolex watch worth $25,000 from his left wrist when the victim refused.

The victim suffered minor injuries to the left ring finger and was treated by EMS, police said.

The thief fled the scene.

In a more recent incident on June 20, at around 3 a.m., two unidentified men approached a 44-year-old man around 8th Ave. and West 37 St. and started beating up the victim.

The thieves then took the victim’s wallet and his Rolex watch worth $30,000 and fled the scene.

The victim suffered minor abrasions to his right hand.

The thieves are described to be in their 30s.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
