NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — The NYPD on Wednesday night released surveillance footage of a man accused of breaking into the Museum of Sex in Manhattan and snatching two T-shirts from the gift shop.

The suspect made his way into the museum, which is located at 233 Fifth Ave. just three blocks away from Madison Square Park, on St. Patrick's Day morning.
Police said he managed to get in in through the front door, which was partially secured, around 11:30 a.m. — about 90 minutes before the museum was scheduled to open for the day.
Once inside, the suspect could be seen setting down his large iced coffee before picking up a white T-shirt off a shelf.

He then wanders around the store, even looking directly at the security camera at one point, before stuffing two shirts worth $60 into his backpack.
The suspect, who was seen wearing a maroon-colored hoodie, black frame eyeglasses, jeans, and gray sneakers at the time of the theft, fled on foot and has not been caught.
